A Cambridge native is hoping a spot on a TV show will help her be lucky in love.

Paige Allen, who now resides in Toronto and works as a director of talent acquisition, is a cast member in Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise Canada.” The new season begins May 8 and runs Mondays on Citytv.

In her bio, the 31-year-old stated she comes by her nickname of “Party Paige” honestly and those close to her would describe her as “wild, crazy, and nuts.”

She noted after a “colourful dating history,” she is looking for her Prince Charming with a perfect smile, who can make her laugh, prioritize her and treat her like gold. Her deal breakers are cheaters, lying and wandering eyes.

This season’s cast features 27 singles, with 13 Canadian and U.S. “Bachelor” alumni and 14 Canadian “fans.”

The format alternates an odd number of women and men per rose ceremony, and those not given a rose leave the show. The men and women alternate adding people after each rose ceremony.

Two couples came out of last year’s show, but are reportedly no longer together.

Ottawa’s Sharleen Joynt, an alum from Juan Pablo’s season of “The Bachelor,” is the host for the upcoming season.
