Memphis football will host longtime rival Central Florida in an afternoon kickoff on Nov. 5 although time and television information will be finalized following this weekend’s AAC games.
The AAC announced Monday that the game will start at either 2:30 or 3 p.m. and will be televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. The conference also said that Navy at No. 19 Cincinnati will be in the same time slot, which means both games’ schedule likely will hinge the outcome of Cincinnati at UCF on Saturday.

Memphis (4-4, 2-3) and UCF (5-2, 2-1) will meet for the last time as AAC opponents with UCF heading to the Big 12 after this season along with Houston and Cincinnati. The Tigers are on their open week after their 38-28 loss at Tulane extended their losing streak to three games.
Memphis and UCF have had several memorable meetings since 2017 although UCF has won all but one of those games.
UCF defeated Memphis four times between 2017-18, including consecutive meetings in the AAC championship game. Memphis got revenge in 2020 with a 50-49 win in which the Tigers rallied for the largest comeback (21 points) in school history.
UCF won last year’s meeting 24-7 as Memphis quarterback Seth Henigan didn’t play due to injury.
